As for the size of the box and filter, we wanted to ensure that we had more than enough flow of air needed for the supercharger in carb tune form as well as future customers that want to upgrade pulleys for higher boost without the need to changing their intake system.

There's definitely nothing wrong with the size of the air box, I like the fact that the filter is so large. It was just difficult to get the screws in while holding washers and trying to squeeze the two halves together to get the threads engaged. I had a friend helping so we got it done - it's not a big deal, and you don't need to change the filter very often but I would have preferred a tool-less assembly.
