I see no reference to Edmunds, Nissans, or 1st year depreciation in your response. Maybe your quoting figures for a specific Nissan, and maybe to Dubai, but that wouldn't apply to Nissans in general, or to the US or world markets. And I see no documentation from Edmunds of any kind.
My point is 1) Nissans (as a brand) do NOT lose 46% (or even 25%) first year depreciation, and 2) I'm sure Edmunds never said that.

Did a quick test to confirm that certain nissian's resale value are extreme low. Did a test of selling a 2015 nissian altima with 15k on the obo in perfect condition. Kbb priced it to only $14,000 compared to a brand new base model off the lot costing $22,000. But its probably due to a new model 2016 just being released. Did another test looking a nissian sentra it held value much better only dropping about $2,000
