If those pipes are clean then you know for a fact the rest of the car is meticulously maintained. Every other weekend when I wash my car, I wipe them down and obviously the rest of the car is showroom condition. I even pop the hood and wipe under there down once in a while. I have a busy life too but I take the 30 seconds extra worth of time to wipe those pipes to make the car perfect since I only wash the car every other week.

Just to put it in context, when I say "Opposite Quadrant of the Universe" I mean "I washed a car once, but don't remember when".
If its clean, its because I just finished restoring it from a pile of scrap and its had its first and last bath. Don't ask me how the two extremes co-exist cause I cant explain it either.
