The XP10s are pretty unhappy. The dust boots are the consistency of potato chips and they're just falling apart. The pads are about half-life:
Cracks in every front pad and the edges are crumbling off
I'm really thinking I'd be better off with XP12s all around and titanium brake shims at a minimum. I'm hoping that with stickier tires I can compress the braking zones and prevent this issue. I'll likely do the AP kit late next year or 2017 if I plan on continued track use. I don't feel like dealing with these stupid issues forever

Stickier tires will compound this issue by dissipating that kinetic energy in a shorter amount of time (aka a larger heat impulse).
Get the BBK before getting the stickier tires, and upgrade the pads before doing either.
