So as a bit of a follow up to my brake "issue" from a few pages ago

I finally got the pads off... I've been busy, but there was plenty of laziness thrown in...

The XP10s are pretty unhappy. The dust boots are the consistency of potato chips and they're just falling apart. The pads are about half-life:



Cracks in every front pad and the edges are crumbling off


I'm really thinking I'd be better off with XP12s all around and titanium brake shims at a minimum. I'm hoping that with stickier tires I can compress the braking zones and prevent this issue. I'll likely do the AP kit late next year or 2017 if I plan on continued track use. I don't feel like dealing with these stupid issues forever
