Unfortunately that is rarely the result of such an encounter. Instead he will probably just get even more aggressive and dangerous in attempt to gain face with his buddies.

The "teach them a lesson" method is not effective and if Allt had crashed, caused the other dude to crash or got busted then we would all hear how it was somebody else's fault. From Allt's own story he wasn't exactly an innocent here either. He could have just smiled and nodded to the initial encounter, slowed down and pulled in behind the guy at the ramp or not reved just drove away normally at the light. Instead he took the dude's bait and acted just as badly. Whether he "won" or not is not the point since in the end he acted just as badly as the guy he is calling out.

If somebody is being an asshat just ignore them. If they are acting dangerously then get a plate number and call the police.
