Good to see someone evaluating the car carefully based on their needs, rather than just buying into the hype.

Back when I had my Miata I never ever wanted more power when I had it on the track, but yes, in daily driving it occasionally felt weak to me. I expect to have similar feelings about the FR-S.

It will be interesting to see if a future supercharged or STI version appears to fill that gap, but I needed a new daily driver now. While the Genesis Coupe was attractive due to its extra torque, in the end the FR-S pushes more of my buttons.
