Ok, quick update.
I have taken it to the dealer, and they replaced the oil with Castrol VMX 80 which supposedly should be good for cold starts and such. To me it sounds like they are trying to mask the problem. I will give it another couple of days and see how it goes, and then call them back if the noise is still there.
Sounds like there is plenty of play in there!
