I don't know. I think a lot of people say they are paying MSRP and are not, but that is just me. I contacted 14 Ford dealers within a 200 mile radius of where I live (Minnesota) and 12 of them wanted $5-10K markup over MSRP. Two of them told me they would sell me at MSRP but had no allocated cars and would try to order one and hope for the best.
One of those 12 dealers that wants ADM originally told me MSRP and took a $500 deposit for one of their allocations. Then they called me back and said they cannot sell the car without a $7500 ADM. I spoke to the manager and he told me he "would do me a favor and knock it down to $5K ADM". Got my $500 deposit back and walked away.
I would also check your order sheet. If it says "prices subject to change" or some other similar language, watch out. Because I know of two people that had Ford dealers (even after a deposit and order sheet in hand) come back and change the price when the car arrived and added a dealer markup on the final paperwork. These were on Boss Mustangs.
Ford dealers are really shady.
