A can of Coke may cost $1 in the US but $2 in Canada and $500 in Lower Slovia but there are thousands of factors involved in that price not a simple exchange to US dollars. Maybe in local purchasing power the $500 can of Coke actually costs the buyer the equivalent of $1 in their country.
It always surprises me when people do a straight currency exchange calculation and use that to say that things cost more elsewhere.
