That way if your medical insurance/car insurance/other person's car insurance won't cover your visit you aren't out thousands of dollars.

Call your medical insurer and get a list of primary care physicians that are in your network near you. Find one that is convenient and give them a call to see if they can see you in the next day or two, if not, move to the next one on the list. This will be your cheapest out-of-pocket option, and will let you establish a relationship with a physician in case you need follow-up care in the future. If you go the ER and have something wrong you'll have to find a regular doc in the future anyway.

Also, completely sucks about your car. I would definitely say totalled as well.
thanks, unfortunately right now i have a gap in healthcare coverage until 2016 so it'll have to be completely out of pocket which i cannot afford
can i go to immediate care without healthcare coverage and get billed later and present to my insurance company for the at fault party's insurance or at fault party to pay via suing them?
