Yeah I know my P3Cars gauge displays Temp from the OBDII port. Pressure could also be monitored to ECU as well but in most cases its for the dummy light.
Some cars like Honda use Oil pressure to monitor and activate the vtaaaaaks in the ECU! I have not dug too deep into our cars yet in wiring
