Well, now, a properly working clutch/flywheel/throw out bearing shouldn't make hardly any noise.

Back in the day, if a throw out bearing was going bad it would first whine ..... then squeal then fly apart ........ as it ground through the fingers on the pressure plate.

After that, the pressure plate (being out of balance) would start to come unglued from the flywheel and tear up the clutch disk, which would mess up the flywheel.

If it all happened all at once, it would "blow", sort like a grenade and blast through the bell housing, ripping up the floorboard. If your legs and private parts were in the way ........ too bad.

Now, having said that, relax and enjoy driving your MT car.

I do ....... of course, I've been "fixed" and at my age sex is no longer that important to me .....
