I bought Korean in 2002, to be fair, it was a great value, good ride & features but I saw the car was not a long term keeper (more like a stop gap/temporary thing). If I had to do it over again I most likely wouldn't, also the stigma of having a Korean car is annoying (must be better since they've improved so much).
P.S. those 10yr/100,000mi warranties are full of loopholes and they offer it knowing you're not going to keep the car for very long anyway.
