Car "manufacturers" don't "manufacturer" much anymore. They buy the parts from whoever meets the specs for the lowest price and that is frequently off shore. They really should be called Car Assemblers now. |
I saw a document recently how Minis are assembled in UK and there were parts from all over the world. What surprise me is there are no parts from USA in twins.
