Sorry, haven't been on here for a while. As CSG_David said below, stock brakes until you find them lacking. The old WRX (Sumitomo) 4 pots went under some pretty brake unfriendly 16" wheels and have piston sizes that work well on the BRZ, so I'd be looking towards that as a possibility if you wanted to experiment.
