They were fine for wet daily driving I never had them hydroplane, and they even gripped pretty well in the 30-40*F range. The PSS overheat under heavy track use, my gf has them on her BRZ in 235 45 17 and they have tons of grip on the road, feel just as grippy as the rs3 on the twisty roads, plus are much better as a daily tire with amazing comfort. Just note that PSS only come in 245 40 17 not 255 40 17, plus they run narrower compared to the rs3. There is no "better" tire, its all subjective. Both are safe for the road but in my experience you give up some comfort and nvh with the rs3 for more track performance :p
