the karts in the places you mentioned are quite old also.. you can add carmona as well where you can go karting, its a track for go-karts and small bikes
regarding trackdays, 86/brz owners join a racing event which happens once a month but they start around feb/mar, you can watch and ride shotgun, the organizers allow it if its just for time attack where we usually join, we dont join the grid races usually
for normal trackdays, we regularly go during weekends and even during weekdays depends on our availability but at least once a month, somebody from the group goes
there are some owners willing to let you drive their cars but of course you cant expect everybody will be willing hehe
join the open group so you can already post up and introduce yourself and meet the owners

thanks for the response!
i'm a little confused about karting locations based on what shows up in google maps. maybe "city kart racing makati" in google maps is only going to some kind of office? it is right by glorietta mall.
if i just google carmona instead, it takes me to a region where i see the circuit makati solstice condos are being built, so i figure this is the actually correct area for the kart track. is everyone excited for the circuit makati project? looks like it will be a cool area. am i correct in understanding there is one kart track, and at this location?
as far as batangas or clark circuits, since it is warm year round, why do they not have time attacks until feb and after? it sounds like you can show up for novice time attack on the calendar but there are also open track days too? that was the part i was unclear on when messaging them on facebook. you mention going weekends or weekdays - is the track so open that you can kind of go when you like? we need a much more organized day here (like 60 people rent out a saturday) for almost all of our track events in the US. can you just roll up and get on to yours most of the time?
i joined the group 'Toyota 86 Club Philippines' but it does not seem to have much activity, is there another?
i also just put in a request to join 'BRZ-86.ph FB Group'. - name mike taveirne
