I think you misunderstood me. I was in no way saying that I like the veloster or that it would be cross-shopped with the FT-86.
I was merely pointing out that both cars have similar dimensions and the veloster weighs only 2584lbs. That is good news for us because if Hyundai can keep the weight down on the veloster then, even with rwd, Toyota should be able to keep the FT-86 somewhere around 2600-2800lbs.
