I am not so sure that this is the case at all. I see a steady stream of Prius, SUVs. mini vans and pick-up trucks going by on the freeway at 85+ MPH. Meanwhile, the guys in Ferraris, Lambos, Porsche and C7 Vettes are cruising in the slow lane at 70. Maybe those guys are a little more secure and have nothing to prove. Or maybe they are the Boss and do not have to hit a time clock. I don't know but my experience has been that more powerful cars does not necessarily mean the driver will drive at reckless speeds on public highways.

The exceptions to that seems to be GTR and Mustang drivers. I have seen some real idiots behind the wheels of those.
