Even with a bad bearing, the car should run for quite a while, but it's better to get it replaced sooner, rather than later. The bearing is cheap, but the labor is $$$.

I thought that the bearing isn't moving unless the clutch pedal is depressed? How can it make noise if you're not on the clutch? Something (throwout bearing?) is making a noise only when my pedal is depressed. A year ago it started with the squeaking at the bottom of the clutch pedal's travel.
