RIP in peace, old tranny. Poor car's probably going to think it's been abandoned. Today is Wednesday, and they said it won't be done until Monday. So it's going to sit... uncovered... in the weather for days.
I've got the ol' notchy 5th gear as so many people do. It's never really bothered me, but once I found out that they'd replace the whole tranny for free, I knew I had to take advantage of it.
And they've only heard it fully warmed up after driving it for an hour to the dealership. I wiiiiiiish I could be there on Monday morning when they find out what cold starts are all about. Like... if I could just be hiding in the bushes with some binoculars. That would be glorious.
