Tyres, guessing two sets. One for track and one for road?

Lastly, what app are you guys using that measures the lap times?
-General: If its your first track day, you really don't need to change anything except brake fluid.
I did my first track day this July on stock brakes and tyres, and I know allot of guys that also did this. The learning experience is incredible, and you won't be going flat out(hopefully!), so you should be safe.

- Tyres: If you get Potenza RE002's you don't have to have 2 sets for road and track, because you can drive them to work every day and track and you will still get decent mileage compared to semi slicks(daily use).

-Brakes: Powerbrake PTA (Endless PB05's)

-Lap timing devices: There's a few free apps. I use Harry's laptimer.
Ive seen cooler free apps, which shows you your driving line etc, provided you have a external GPS for accuracy.
