This has been an eye opener for me, about labor rates, since I do all my services myself anyway. I had no idea how expensive it is nowadays. Seriously considering getting my ASE cert renewed now. If not for some side jobs (which I still do as favors), for shits and giggles.

You can tell alot about how skillful and caring a technician is by simply based on their procedure, process, efficiency, and even placement of tools. I can also tell you there are only a few people who I know who are like that in southern California.
