Adding all these parts to make the additional power means it is no longer a like-for-like comparison, and the Edelbrock comes out on top (for me anyway) again. From what I can tell it runs cooler too.
I still want the HKS exhaust because I like the sound, the EL headers and the weight savings! Just struggling to justify the price of it - so I'm looking around at other options that might be just as good.

It could never be a fair comparison in the first place - roots type superchargers behave differently from centrifugal superchargers. Edelbrock will give you more low end torque whereas the HKS will yield more power in the top-end.
A more fair comparison against HKS would be JRSC/Kraftwerks, and for Edelbrock it would be against Cosworth/Harrop or even Sprintex in a way.
