Saw the below story in today's 30/1015 Melbourne Sun.
"With the 86 being on sale for over three years now, Tada-san said it’s due for a fairly heavy midlife update soon. This includes its exterior look, interior and finally an update to its 2.0-litre naturally aspirated boxer engine. But if you were hoping for a standard turbocharger, it’s still looking unlikely with Tada-san saying it would be “too easy”.
And this;
"Interestingly though, he was very interested in the idea of fitting an electric turbocharger to the car."
