I would like to know why, too, as the procede spun up my ESC when I jumped my car, which was what fried the controller.
Brief update on my ESC status:
- Got the kit back from Rob
- Installed it today. The rev.3's 3-pin wiring confused me momentarily, but I figured it out
- The wire to tap into my procede was.. nowhere long enough to reach my procede. I had to tap in a new wire. Maybe the new procedes have a longer black wire that can reach all the way out into the engine bay (but mine doesn't)
- Enjoyed boost for 10 minutes, then voltmeter display turned off again
- Doubled checked connections, don't know what's wrong. Waiting for Rob to get back to me
