You are pretty much correct. I think a handful of the negative comments are a mix of confusion and miscommunication. A handful of owners bought the header and "tuned" it with an OFT, thinking that it would get rid of the CEL, which it doesn't since its the tunes are an off the shelf UEL tune.

This one in particular was ceramic coated by the owner, but the new versions will have a "FT86SpeedFactory" tacked on one of the runners. So if you have an inspector who knows what they are looking for, its a pretty big giveaway. Doesn't mean you can't swap your stock headers in during inspection...
