It was in January and we were on holiday in KZN for a few days.
I got hold of Mike Fogg and got his permission to play a bit on the track.
No marshals, no nothing - like nada!!
I was on brand new road tyres, and had a great reluctance to scrub them, so I took it very easy.
My best lap was 1m19-something and it's unlikely I'll get there again, so that will probably stand as my very unexciting PB for a long time.

Oh, did I say that my gorgeous white haired wife was watching me with an eagle eye too - wha-ha-ha!!
It was a good time for a bit of restraint.
Dodged a duiker on my first lap.

Then it scarpered off into the bush.
Must admit that I found the 30 year old trees growing at the edge of the track a bit... well, distracting (read scary)
