Oh I never said the subie would be a well balanced agile machine...that would be the RWD Toyota version. The subie version, because of the awd layout constraints you mentioned, would be a wrx coupe...a nose heavy understeering pig just like the current wrx 4 and 5 door.

But a lot of subaru fans love their wrx and want a coupe version so that's not a problem for them. 2 different cars for two different customer demographics.
