All that labor, paint, etc , it is cheaper to buy a hood with vents in them.
Or cut a hole and put a vent/duct in the hole.
It's only cheaper if you have free welding and fabrication.

Cost isn't so much an issue here. I'm more interested in maintaining a light hood and incorporating heat management. Wouldn't even have to be as intricate as the GT 300.
