I'm with you. People always seem to want something different. Over here people badge swap to Toyota - over in Japan people badge swap to Scion. FR-S bumpers are exchanged with BRZ bumpers. No one's ever happy.
Personally I agree that the pistons are a neat little garnish and I'm much happier with them than with the yet-another-fake-vent of the BRZ's (yes I know there's still a small fake vent on the FR-S) or the non-functioning "aero" things.
