Well it happened accidentally, I didn't intend to discharge it to the atmosphere, it just kind of exploded after I sheared the LP inlet bolt.
"it is unlawful for any person, in the
course of maintaining, servicing,repairing, or disposing of an appliance or industrial process refrigeration, to knowingly vent or otherwise knowingly release or dispose of any class I or class II substance used as a refrigerant in such appliance."
So technically I didn't break the law, just sayin...
