are you sure those are the right numbers? I've seen that Toyota claims they sold 245000 or so 1982 Toyota Supras. I couldn't find any sales figures on the net for them now.
The point still stands, 100,000 cars in 3 or 4 years is terrible for everything that is not a two door car. And it is terrible compared to Mustangs and other muscle cars.
they just don't sell like they use to.
