Arrived yesterday after a long 6 weeks at sea to the land of the rising sun, and i absolutely love them.
Threw them on real quick before work for pics, will get better ones some other time once i have the rack and bike installed too!
Was thinking of making a 3d model for a pair of clips that would push-fit in to the upper side of the trunk space out of the way, clip would hold both bars and the tightening bar, i'll post the file here so others can 3dprint themselves or use a site like shapeways if anyones interested.

All i can say is that_guy has done an awesome job, if you're in need tof a way to carry your bike and he has any left, buy them even if you live on the other side of the world (like me), well worth it.
But now i get to say "first set in japan?
