I am not aware of what other changes that car has undergone but, in my mind at least, it is no longer an "FRS". It is something totally different that just happens to look like an FRS.

Hmm good question. I'll follow up with: weren't the cars designed as a 'blank canvas' where one could do whatever they want with it?
I do agree that adding a more powerful engine changes the spirit of the car, in my eyes. I wanted a turbo a month in, did all the research into what changes that entail. Now, I don't care for one. Hell, I don't even care to swap out the header and tune it for that extra 10-20whp..
By no means am I a purist though. I'll just stick to the awesome little nimble, handling machine that I bought.
