engines will spend the majority of time spinning at less than 3500 where most port injection is used,also the ecu uses 100% port on every startup for first couple of minutes.

bumping that 20% high load port injection cut in to 7200 from 5200 will be a very small drop in total port injection run time unless it a race car.

it makes no difference if your on high quality fuel but my south africian friends were able to add back in about 4 degrres of timing and gained almost 8 kw from that mod on 95 ron fuel which is about your 89 aki, thats the best they have
