Me either (in terms of VW fudging things)

It's funny because my friend commented on my car after he drove it and told me my car felt like it felt quicker off the line too. So it was not just me.

As I was googling this I think you are spot on about the throttle. Someone said they installed a pedal box and it fixed the hesitation.
