Any of the Tein products I've interacted with in the past have been no better than the typical cheap coilovers, and have blown within a year on the street.
My WRX's Tein Street coilovers blew in just over a year, and Tein couldn't rebuild them, neither could the local coilover guru.
The ST's in my Forester lasted 70k miles, quite a few were autox, and after 3 years they rebuilt them and got them back to me in a week.
Is my experience with the two companies opposite to what most people are having, or perhaps at least in this platform?

Did you buy a counterfeit? Tein has a fully staffed facility stateside, and services dampers in North America locally.
