I can exploit the weaknesses of the BRZ pretty quickly on a track. Stock brakes fade 2 - 4 laps in and oil is pegging 290 - 300 halfway through a session. But both problems easily fixed, which is why I love the car. But what comes from the factory isn't up to the task.
But, what number would you give? That's the whole point of us discussing this. Sharing opinions or ideas.

I don't consider BRZ to be a competition car or a track car, but I believe that overall it is very well thought and much more tested for track days in comparison to other cars. So, it just seemed to me that a 5 was very low.
Regarding the problems you mentioned, someone needs to use racing brake pads and better tires. But, I don't consider these to be factory issues. It looks that the factory considered these as necessary accessories for entering a track.
Regarding the high oil temperatures, I don't consider again to be a serious issue. There were other issues with the engine and factory fixed them. For example, they changed the intake and exhaust valves and a few other things. You can check details
here. But, I haven't heard about any broken engines because of the high oil temperatures. If you aware something else please let us know.
