Also, any news on upper mounting solution / changing the core? I think a straight threaded fitting into the core like the JR / Perrin options are optimal, eliminating another AN seal there would be great peace of mind to eliminate another area for potential leaks. |
Yes, the thermostatic adapter plate was made to work with a 1" socket and still has a bit of wiggle room.
To follow up from our previous post, yes we are working on the optional mounting solution and will also be adding a Bell core as an option along with the more common Setrab cores.
Here is a pic of the oil cooler kit installed with our prototype air box, which we should also be wrapping up very soon.
