What Arduino are you using? Are you by any means worried of it being affected by extreme temperatures? I've had Arduino freeze on me at colder temperatures.

I know people will be amazed at the price point of this build, but seeing an Arduino with canbuss is the most amazing aspect of this build...

Arduino Uno R3, even if it failed I wouldn't lose any critical system. Car is driveable with it disconnected. I have no problem sharing the code. The Arduino with canbus parts cost 75USD total.
