I find them peaky within sessions in that they can be greatly affected by over heating and/or improper inflation. They are in my experience very sensitive tires and I won't use them any more. I also prefer the RA1/NT01 which are much much more resilient/stable/predictable.

The R888's sensitivity makes them a love/hate tire and I think is the reason you get such a wide range of responses from people
