There are roads in the Wenatchee/Chelan area just like that where I thrashed my first car in similar fashion, a '77 Celica coupe. As inferior as the solid rear axle was, that torquey little 20r and four speed gearbox were more than enough to flood my undeveloped 18yo brain with endorphins.
My little Scion is my daily and I like it too much to do that to it.
