The stamp is just bizarre in the first place when viewed from a manufacturing viewpoint. The value added just isn't apparent and the labour involved in making and updating ithat stamp adds cost. I know it isn't exactly a long process but when we can shave microseconds off a process it can save big bucks. Not to mention how many times each mat must be handled to have stamps weeks apart. That is just throwing cash out the window.
