Guys have been running e85 on wrx, libertys for over 5 years, sure its only been 3 years on 86\brz platform wit direct injection. but guys have put 50 or 60 thousand km on e85 , some guys running 20psi boost.
sure people have blown up wrx or libertys on e85 but those guy are generally running pretty high boost and drive hard so likey not directly attributable to e85.
so what exactly fails or will total the car if you run e85 ?
yes run an incompatable oil and you will likely run into problems
