RPF-1's are probably the best price/weight deal, 225 width tires are probably more than enough for an NA car. Any high end summer tire is going to do well on the track (especially compared to stock all-seasons), so pick which one suits you. Pretty sure a +35 offset is fine with a 17x8.

LOL, the gunmetal is why I am buying 17x9 from Oakos. I also will be concentrating more on autox than track for the next 2 years so it was a dealbreaker. If I get to the point where I can buy alot of track time then I should be able to afford 17x8 for better times.
