I wasn't quite prepared to spend that much.

The following two which are sold locally in Australia seem to review ok for noise:
Perrin Cat Back Exhaust 2.5" for AUD $1150 ~USD $820
Invidia Q300 catback exhaust for AUD $1190 ~USD $850 or for AUD $1520 ~USD $1080 with high flow front pipe (catted).

Is the Invidia high flow front pipe worth the extra expense?

Will these two exhaust options above achieve my goals and is there anything else I should be checking out?

At this stage I'm too sure about which headers but will keep looking to see what's available locally.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in advance

I've had a Milltek and sold it, currently have a Q300 which is quieter than the Perrin - if you go to catless headers, then you need a catted front pipe. the current bang-for-bucks popular choice here in Aus seems to be: PSR (ProSpeed Racing) headers/overpipe (can be purchased pre-coated to reduce heat) then one of any number of 2.5" front pipes - the Invidia FP is the quietest, but quite restrictive - I'm currently running Ceramic coated Tomei UEL Headers, 2.5" OP and PSR/SME 2.5" Catted frontpipe with Q300 this is as loud as I'm comfortable with.

2nd hand Q300 catback will probably set you back ~AU$600-750. Set aside AUD1700-1900 nose to tail + tune additional.
