As it turns out, they lost the keys for the scanner which has all of the Japanese manufacturers on them. Was hoping to narrow it down to a few possibilities. If you buy a cheap ELM327 blutooth obd adapter and have an andriod phone or tablet download the torque app or obd dash and you can monitor sensors read codes and clear codes the app and blutooth adapter will be less than $20
