I'd be in "Limited Heavy", that same as evos, and other cars allowed to make similar upgrades. I mean I might be able to compete in some drag class with stock interior and weight but.... straight lines.
Matt, Im sure you did research into the local classing and whatnot before supercharging. Did you come to same conclusion and decide to just do it for fun?
Some of the other cars in limited heavy per the results from MNtimeattck

I tell you what - Prior to the BRZ, I was really only involved in events that were recreational level competition - Local AutoX and Proving grounds, both which are more just about fun and whatnot vs competition. When I got into the BRZ, I knew I wanted to Supercharge it from day 1, just because i'd never owned a FI car and really, really wanted one - just for myself. It also helps that it was the perfect power addition to the BRZ, even in 'stock' form (perrin tune) while i still have the option to dial up the power with Flex fuel and e85.
For classing though, I knew it'd put me in Street Modified for SCCA AutoX, but that's ok because the car can hold it's own in that classing with the allowed mods.
At Proving grounds, I'm basically just in the Unlimited group and just for fun.
Beyond that, I plan to do other events like GRIDLIFE and maybe some day USCA (where i'd be in GTL) but I honestly don't ever see myself being able to compete at a high or dedicated level - just more like experiencing them.
So Long, Long story short - I am building the car the way I want to drive it and have fun in it (on and off track) with a small influence from the event classings.
Adding FI to this car still make it one hell of a contender for a lot of formats.
